Tillväxtmedier successfully continues to develop its concept at a fast pace. All the companies showed positive trends in their respective markets in 2010. The companies mainly suceeded to increase their market share in a highly competitive and complex market, which is growing rapidly.
Schibsted Tillväxtmedier owns a number of growing internet companies. The company holds a very strong position linked to Swedish internet-based consumer services. While hitta.se is organizationally part of Schibsted Tillväxtmedier, it is reported as part of the Online classifieds business area.
Schibsted Media Group’s position gives Tillväxtmedier good opportunities to make interesting investments in the most exciting companies in the market.
Most of them exceeded their own targets for revenues, profits and market shares. Expectations for 2011 are therefore high. In 2010 Tillväxtmedier had considerable success with its vision of managing and developing its current share portfolio and of creating companies that strengthen Schibsted’s digital commitment by means of acquisitions or organic growth.
In 2010 Tillväxtmedier’s concept was exported to Norway, where Schibsted Vekst was established.
The most recent acquisition was Letsdeal.se, a local rival to Groupon.
