Schibsted is a Scandinavian media group with approximately 7,400 employees in 27 countries. Schibsted’s strategy comprises two main objectives: further development of our media houses and establishment of online classifieds.

Our objective is to develop our business activities so that we can offer our users a wide range of services, irrespective of which channels they choose to use. The diversity of Schibsted’s product range is closely aligned with our strong tradition of editorial freedom and our ability to adapt to a media market that is constantly undergoing rapid change.

In recent years we have been systematically expanding our online classifieds business, both through acquisitions and organic growth. The online classifieds segment is a long-standing part of our business model, and these transformations will ensure that it continues to be so for a long time to come.
