Svein Eriksen new CEO of Webtraffic

As of September 1 Svein Eriksen (38) will be the new CEO of Webtraffic. He succeeds Joakim Pops, who has become CEO of Hitta.se.

Svein Eriksen, WebtrafficCurrently, Svein is Country Manager of Webtraffic Norway, a business that he has developed and been in charge of since it was launched in 2009.

- We are very pleased that Svein has chosen to come to us in Stockholm. He has long experience from Schibsted Media Group and has proven to have both the sound knowledge and drive it will take to bring Webtraffic to the next level, says Anders Berglund, Chairman of the Board of Webtraffic Sweden.

Until further notice, Svein will lead Webtraffic’s operations both in Sweden and in Norway.

Among others, Svein has previous experience in business development and has been Sales Director at media house Aftenposten in Norway.

- I see this opportunity as a great challenge. My ambition is to continue developing Webtraffic as the leading market player and play an active role in continue developing the advertisement market in a digital direction, says Svein Eriksen.

Webtraffic was founded in 2005 and is today one of the biggest online advertisement networks in Sweden. The company was purchased by Schibsted Media Group in 2007, and currently has approximately 50 employees.
