The British company toppjobs.net plc has acquired 75% of the company JobbDirekt AB, a company providing Internet recruitment solutions in Sweden. Aftonbladet is reducing its share of the company from 40% to 25%. Aftonbladet is selling the 15% share of JobbDirekt AB for US $ 1.1 million in cash and 160.000 shares in topjobs.net plc, which is listen on the NASDAQ exchange (Nasdaq:tjob). In addition another US $ 300.000 will be paid to Aftonbladet if JobbDirekt AB reaches its financial targets for the year 2000. If JobbDirekt AB reaches its financial targets, the total gain on the transaction will be SEK 18 million for Aftonbladet.
