Aftonbladet wrote a piece of Swedish media history by being the first to transmit the Swedish party leader debate via online TV. Now they have won the Swedish TV producers’ prize for the best interactive program.
“We worked hard strategically to bring in an audience that usually doesn’t look for this kind of program. Perhaps the best response has been from teachers who have told us that their students have begun to talk politics in the classroom; that feels great,” says Lotta Folcker.
