The newspaper will be launched this fall. Next week SvD will give readers the chance to name the paper in a big competition.
The newspaper is a follow-up on the popular site SvD Läs och skriv, where teachers, students and parents can get tips and information on reading and writing.
“We want to continue our commitment to improve Swedish students` reading- and writing skills. We strive to encourage children to get more interested in the news and of course to learn from them,” says Gunilla Asker, SvD`s CEO.
The newspaper will be published once a week.
