The winners of Schibsted Sales Awards 2016

VG’s Anders Johansen was awarded Sales Person of the Year, while Fredrik Lehman from Schibsted Sales and Inventory is Sales Manager of the Year.

The winners were announced at the annual Schibsted Sales Awards in Stockholm on the evening of Friday 29 January in front of a cheering crowd of 720 sales people from all over Schibsted Media Group. Johansen received the NOK 250,000 prize from CEO Rolv Erik Ryssdal.

This person has been the best salesperson in the company for several years, delivering growth in a tough market. The winner has adapted to the changing market environment in a unique way. He works strategically, is famous for knowing everything about our customers, and works across the whole of Schibsted Media Group. All these qualities make this person a role model. A fighter and a stayer!

 

Sales Manager of the Year: Fredrik Lehman, Schibsted Sales and Inventory

This person is a clear and popular leader and a powerful inspiration for his colleagues. This sales manager provides insight and is always hands-on. Through frequent team meetings with the salespeople, he ensures close contact with the market. The winner is good at opening doors throughout Schibsted Media Group and at facing challenges head-on.

 

Sales Team of the Year: Subito advertising team

This team has delivered strong growth for the past three years, despite the tough

conditions in their market.  The team has worked hard to learn how to approach mobile and programmatic, even if it’s not easy to educate the market and win immediate revenues from these channels.

Their constant focus on gaining new customers as well as bringing a creative approach and new ideas to the customer has been noticed in the market, making their company an attractive channel to invest in. 

 

Sales Organization of the Year: Leboncoin

This organization is in a league of its own, facing the competition from Google and Facebook head-on and providing excellent results. They have established themselves as the number 3 advertising site in France and achieved a high level of customer satisfaction. Working systematically and smart is the French recipe for success and growth.  An extraordinary organization with an outstanding sales performance!

 

Performance of the Year: Local all over, Schibsted Sales and Inventory/Frida Kvarnström, Johan Jeppson + the local sales team

This performance is a prime example of taking Schibsted to the next level. In a short period of time, they have rolled out an impressive range of products. Innovative ways of finding new revenue sources have paid off in a tripling of the forecasted profits, and is therefore a major contributor to Schibsted Sweden’s results in 2015. An example to follow for others companies within the Group!
