Three new executives in place in VG

Stine Halla Stav is the new CFO, Ola E. Stenberg is the new digital editor and Espen Sundve is the new development and chief technology officer in VG.

Stine Halla Stav (36) is the new CFO in VG, following Ann Mari Ågotnes who moves to a new position in Schibsted Norge. For the past year Stav has been CFO of Bergens Tidende, and before that she worked as Compliance Officer in Schibsted ASA. Stine Halla Spell is holds an MBA and is a certified public accountant, and prior to joining Schibsted in 2010 she worked for eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ola E. Stenberg (33) has been appointed digital editor of VG, after Espen Egil Hansen earlier this winter took over as editor-in-chief of Aftenposten. Stenberg has for the last three years been editorial manager of VGTV, and before that he held various editorial positions at VG Multimedia. Ola E. Stenberg is a qualified journalist and has worked in VG for almost 10 years. Before that, he worked at NTB, Avisenes nyhetsbyrå (Newspapers’ News Agency) and in Hamar Arbeiderblad.

Espen Sundve (31) will be the new development and technology officer in VG. He follows Christian Oterhals who since the beginning of 2014 been the new CEO and editor in VGTV AS. Sundve joined Schibsted Media Group as a management trainee in 2008 and has experience from several Schibsted companies – and in recent years from Schibsted Classified Media. He comes to VG from the position as Senior Project Manager & Head of Innovation at Schibsted ASA. Sundve holds an MSc / MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU.

Stav, Stenberg and Sundve will all be part of VG’s executive team.
