Top French politicos seek out Leboncoin

Leboncoin was the center of attention when France’s President, François Holland, visited their booth at this week’s renowned Entrepreneurs Fair in Paris.

Schibsted’s online marketplace flagship Leboncoin was at the “Salon des Entrepreneurs” in Paris on 1 and 2 February with a 50 m2 corner. Over 65,000 professionals attend this fair every year, from both established and emerging companies.

Leboncoin focused its participation on being “the ideal partner to boost your business”, presenting its advertising solutions, in particular the self-serve-advertising tool “L’atelier Business”, and the job classified solutions for recruiters.

Leboncoin’s CEO Antoine Jouteau got the opportunity to discuss these subjects and the part Leboncoin plays in the French tech industry as France’s 4th most visited site, with major political leaders such as President François Hollande and the Minister of Labor Myriam El Khomri, as well as politicians François Fillon from Les Républicains and Emmanuel Macron from En Marche, who are both running for presidency this year.

Presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron was also eager to establish a dialogue with Leboncoin.
