Due to COVID-19 the event had to be carried differently than planned, forcing the project team to think of new ways to honor our employees regardless of the situation we are in.
Smaller groups got together in Stockholm, Oslo and Bergen, where the nominees were celebrated with fine dinners. This year there were 15 nominations in 5 categories who all created videos on why they should win an award. All nominees in each category were reviewed by the jury in advance and the winners were announced through a video sent out to all nominees at 9pm last night.
And the winners are:
- Salesperson of the Year: Torgrim Jorfald
- Sales Manager of the Year: Roy Elvik
- Cross-functional team of the Year: Effekten av Nyhetsmedia/The Effect of News Media, Sweden.
- Sales Team of the Year: Nordic Sales Team in Prisjakt
- Performance of the Year: VGTV
All efforts were impeccable – not only due to the good results and strong team spirit, but also great entertainment value!

Skogen Lund continues by highlighting the sales force’s efforts through the COVID-19 crisis: “I have been particularly impressed by how the sales force, under such difficult circumstances, have worked so hard, never given up, attended customer meetings and produced fantastic results given the macro headwinds that we have seen in the market. We would have been in a much worse place if it had not been for their efforts”.
