Aftenposten has entered into early retirement agreements with 66 employees. The one-off cost related to these agreements will amount to approximately NOK 30 million. As previously announced, this cost related to the ongoing cost reduction initiative at Aftenposten will be expensed in the 1998 financials. The annual cost reduction related to these early retirements, which is expected to have full effect from 2001, will amount to approximately NOK 30 million.
