From July 1, 1999 the cover price of VG will increase from NOK 8 to NOK 9 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday. The cover price on these weekdays has been unchanged at NOK 8 since 1993. Assuming unchanged circulation, the price increase will have a NOK 70 million positive effect on VG’s pre-tax profit.
