Schibsted has sold the buildings and property at Linderud in Oslo where the group’s printing facilities currently are located. The buyer is Aspelin-Ramm Gruppen AS. The building and property, which as of January 1, 1998 has a book value of NOK 81,5 million has been sold for NOK 110 million. The gain on the sale of NOK 28.5 million will be recorded during the first quarter of 1998. The property will be taken over by the new owners as of January 1 , 1998. Schibsted and Aspelin-Ramm Gruppen AS have entered into a two year rental agreement with an annual rent of NOK 16 million. Schibsted will continue printing Aftenposten and VG at the Linderud plant until the new printing plant in Nydalen is completed. The completion of the printing plant is estimated to March 1999 after which the disassembly of the print presses at Linderud is estimated to 6 months.
