Schibsted Multimedia expands in Denmark and has entered into an agreement to aquire 50% of the Danish company Netstationen A/S (www.netstationen.dk). The business of the two companies will be integrated. This makes SOL Denmark the second largest portal in the country with 700,000 unique monthly users, a reach of around 40% and a leading position towards the age group of 15-25 years.
SOL Danmark operates the portal sol.dk and the search engine Kvasir. Netstationen is a portal with Denmarks leading community-service and provides the SOL-companies with valuable technology and know-how within this type of services.
