Verdens Gang AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Schibsted ASA, has decided to increase the price of VG from NOK 8.00 to NOK 10.00 on Saturdays. The price will remain unchanged on the other days of the week. The price increase will be effective from July 4, 1998 and the expected impact on the pre-tax profit for 1998 is NOK 18 million assuming unchanged circulation.
