Scandinavia Online (SOL) buys 51% of the internet auction service Bid2Day from Cell Ventures and a nordic company will be formed. Cell Ventures remains with 49% of the shares. Bid2Day will be launched at SOL portals in Sweden (Passagen), Norway, Denmark and Finland and become the largest online auction house in the Nordic countries. Further European expansion will be considered.

The previously stated strategy of establishing a pan-nordic SOL company, consisting of SOL Norway, SOL Sweden(Passagen) and SOL Denmark, is maintained. One of the alternatives which is under consideration is a possible listing of this new pan-nordic SOL company.
