VG’S CIRCULATION DELOPMENT 1. QUARTER 1997
VG’s circulation the first three months of 1997 increased by 1.7% compared to 1996. The circulation increased by 500 newspapers in January, 7,000 in February and 26,000 in March. The March figures are uncertain due to the strong sales during Easter, which this year was in March. Adjusting for the Easter effect, the March sales increase is estimated at approximately 11,000 copies. The adjusted accumulated circulation increase during the first quarter is estimated at 6,000 copies compared to 1996.
