Schibsted has been a participant of UN’s Global Compact since 2009. This is a strategic initiative for companies that undertake to align their business activities and strategies with ten universally recognised principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and the fight against corruption. By signing the compact, Schibsted has undertaken to:
- Support the protection of human rights within its sphere of influence
- Guarantee international labour standards
- Improve environmental protection
- Fight corruption and bribery
