Schibsted takes over full control of the French online classifieds giant Leboncoin.fr, which is valued at EUR 400 million. Leboncoin.fr is Europe’s third-largest online classified site.
The company is based on the Blocket concept, which is exported to 15 countries by the end of 2010.

- Schibsted’s management conference in Tallinn is opened by Andrus Ansip, Prime Minister of Estonia, who thanks Schibsted for the positive role it has played in developing the Estonian media industry.
- The profitability program continues, and the bar is raised from NOK 1.6 billion to NOK 1.7 billion. Schibsted continues to focus on two strategic areas: media houses and the online classifieds business.
