Sofia is temporarily stationed in San Francisco as a result of the new “Digital Health” business area which Schibsted Publishing in Sweden launched in September this year. Head of Digital Health is Cecilia Mortimer Meurling.
Sofia’s mission is two-fold:
- Gain insights about the online health & wellness area; understand what’s going on at the forefront of this market, such as in academia, startups, or the ‘big’ players.
- Find potential partners to join Schibsted’s journey within this area.
“At the end of every week, I publish an update on my blog on what’s going on here, for instance interesting people I’ve met, products I’ve tried, trends I’ve noticed or my thoughts on health related topics that interest me,” Sofia Ljungmark explains.
