Record Traffic in 2016 for Finn.no

Finn.no scores impressive traffic and listing growth, driven by mobile app adoption

OSLO, NORWAY ­– January 24, 2017 ­– FINN.no, Norway’s largest online marketplace, made 2016 a record year for growth in both overall traffic and number of listings. Much of the traffic growth came from FINN.no’s mobile app. The generalist section of FINN.no, FINN Torget, experienced the strongest growth in terms of listings and traffic.

During the third quarter of 2016, FINN.no had a traffic increase of 16 percent over the previous year. Mobile app use accounted for 85% of that growth. FINN Torget, which has approximately 2.2 million unique weekly users, had the highest overall growth with an 18 percent increase from 2015. Jobs, Real Estate and Cars also saw robust growth at 17, 15, and 13 percent, respectively, over 2015.  On average FINN.no receives 6.3 million unique visitors per week.

Listings at FINN.no grew 25 percent in 2016 over the previous year, with most of FINN.no’s marketplaces showing positive growth. FINN Torget led all of FINN.no’s marketplaces with a 29 percent increase in listing revenues from 2015.

FINN continues to innovate and grow its product offering. In the fourth quarter of 2016, FINN launched Shopping, a new marketplace with products from select partners. These products can be bought immediately and delivered direct to your door.
