We use the Google material icons and symbols. These are more generic symbols, to use when you need to communicate clear instructions or straight forward information.

We should primarily use the black and white versions, as they are small graphic items that should stick out, and to get a clear contrast with our colourful illustrations.
In digital products, use the pre-defined icon styles below, that match our typographic scale and visual rhythm. For all other usage stick to the 400 weight, if possible, and the same styling and grade as in the table. Sizes will vary with context.
